The role We are recruiting for a Qualitative Associate Director (Financial Services focus) to join our team who specialise in consumer & commercial research largely with FMCG companies, banks & FinTechs. The role we are looking to fill would focus on non FMCG clients. What does that mean? For us, finance is a big part of this. The world of finance is changing rapidly – payment options and carriers are exploding, Open Banking is allowing new entrants into the market, and London continues to be a hub for FinTech and innovation. Money is one of the most emotive topics in the world and people seldom behave rationally when it comes to it. This makes it a fascinating subject to explore in qualitative research. What will I be doing? Our research experts provide integrated qualitative research, using traditional methodologies such as focus groups & depth interviews, as well as engaging new digital tools, such as mobile diaries & online communities – which have been critical through the CV19 crisis. We are looking for someone who is passionate and interested in the financial industry and can bring this enthusiasm to every brief we receive. To be successful in this, you will need: A genuine interest in the financial services space and an enthusiasm in keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in this sector An interest in marketing, branding & advertising, particularly within FS. Previous research experience within FS is a bonus, but not essential to the role. Experience and confidence in handling & developing business with clients Solid project management, delegation and planning skills,. The ability to work creatively and think commercially To be client focused & with a proven track record in working closely with clients Along with: Strong interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively Experience with digital qualitative methodologies Have a ‘right first time’ approach The Associate Director with a focus on Financial Services, is key to our mission.
