We are looking to recruit a Financial Modeller to be based out of our Head Office in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire. This is a newly-created role with its main purpose to include developing and maintaining detailed financial models to support all our short, medium and long-term strategic planning. This role requires a specialist within Financial Modelling and we are looking for somebody who has a real passion for building, maintaining and analysing data with a methodical and creative approach! The successful candidate must have excellent IT skills and be extremely comfortable and proficient within excel and spreadsheet manipulation. What you'll be doing day to day Develop a suite of financial models to drive business improvements Develop and implement financial forecasting and budgeting models Work with the finance team to understands the complex requirements and accurately implemented data in various modules Utilise data manipulation techniques in Excel to populate models with accounting data Assist in the performance analysis of the business providing reporting insight Run and maintain models and manage all internal & external reporting deliverables Support internal stakeholders across the business with forecasting around profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow Link between business units and central support functions to give financial modelling assistance and analysis Interpret the results of models and effectively communicate initial views and findings Support on various business projects The experience we're looking for in a candidate Accountancy qualification (preferable) Minimum 5 years relevant working experience within a similar role Strong financial service background, industry specific experience would be advantageous but not essential Significant Financial Modelling and forecasting experience required A passion for analysing and working with data to produce Financial Modelling Excellent excel proficiency and familiarity with a range of techniques What we can offer you Competitive Salary Company car / Car allowance 25 days holiday + bank holidays Holiday trading scheme Private Medical Insurance Perks at work scheme (discount from high street retailers) Free eye test vouchers Employee share scheme 3x life assurance Free Parking Flexible Working 5% enhanced pension contribution Please note – we may have to close applications to this role sooner than anticipated based on the number of applications received.
