To ensure we can continue to be both legal advisors and business partners, we are seeking a committed, approachable and motivated Financial Accounting and Analysis Advisor to deliver best-in-class support to our client team. Team description: The Group Reporting team is responsible for reporting the firm’s results, including management accounts, statutory accounts, planning/budget/forecasting, key performance indicator data, WIP/debtor reporting, fee earner statistics and profitability information. This includes managing the reporting process throughout the firm to ensure consistent, high quality and timely data.  The department also provides analysis and comment on our reported results, including highlighting exceptions and trends for discussion at Executive Committee (ExCom) and Partnership Board (PB) meetings.  The team also provides support to the global Finance community by dedicating specific staff to respond to the needs of our regions. Specifically, your role will call on you to: Be responsible for the global planning, budgeting and forecasting process Provide commentary and presentations to the Executive Committee and Partnership Board on monthly and quarterly financial performance Prepare analysis to support the financial elements of the firm’s decision making and project work to support other functions, including regular ad-hoc analysis for the Group Financial Controller and CFO Produce the annual statutory accounts for certain Linklaters entities, including liaising with the external auditors The skills you'll need to succeed will include: Qualified accountant / near to completing exams with relevant experience Experience of routine company reporting with sound financial accounting skills and up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting standards Ability to understand business and perform analytical reviews Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate issues to other financial and non-financial personnel Extremely organised and able to prioritise and manage workload These skills or qualifications will be advantageous: Experience with an international firm / company Partnership experience or knowledge of professional services environment Experience of SAP Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success.
