Role Synopsis This role will be situated within the Audit Technology Delivery Team (ATDT) aligned into KPMG’s Enterprise Wide Services (EWS) Function and is a direct report to the Lead Business Partner. Audit Technology Delivery is a Centre of Excellence that forms the buffer between the Business and Technology – Business Partnering is the front-end sub function which is accountable for maintaining and growing successful relationships and services in order to maintain the highest level of quality throughout the lifecycle of all Audit Technology Applications and Products. Our customer expectations are very high, as such we are looking for adaptive, innovative and highly motivated people to deliver on time to high quality. This is a challenging role requiring problem-solving skills working in a recently established team /service environment. Due to the nature of the assignments undertaken by KPMG the position requires autonomy, initiative, and a flexible/resilient attitude. Above all, you will have a desire to drive progress in this role. The role of the Business Engagement Analyst is to provide support to the Audit Service Delivery Management and Business Engagement sub-functions. Key overall responsibilities will include Operational/Service and Pipeline/Demand related activities in support of the UK Audit Business function. The successful candidate will be required to engage directly with stakeholders in the Audit function and will form a key part of the team that helps these stakeholders to successfully navigate the complexities of Technology. Key Accountabilities: The primary responsibilities include; Navigation of operational escalations and day-to-day problems through to successful conclusions; Support in enabling and driving tactical solutions and “fixes” for significant technology issues; Support the Business Analyst and Lead Business Partner in the triage and processing of new technology demand; Act as a guide for key Audit stakeholders through the Audit Technology lifecycle, ensuring smooth transitions and a positive customer experience; Focus on strengthening Stakeholder relationships and all underpinning service pillars; Drive Continual Service Improvement plans and activities; Support Service reporting, reviews and trend analysis activities; Assist in driving internal improvement in process, governance and methodology; Support Business-as-usual Change, Incident and Problem Management activities; Grow knowledge on keyAudit products, platforms and underpinning technologies. The candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong analytical skillset to a level where they can quickly understand and support a challenging portfolio of services and products. This is a hands-on role where the role holder will be expected to support their leaders, team and wider technology group across a range of ever-changing work packages. The holder will be an individual that is adaptable and disciplined. Excellent communication will be essential to success. The core responsibilities of the role are: Active and supportive role as part of the Audit Technology Delivery Team; Enable Team efficiencies by maintaining quality control over business-as-usual deliverables; Maintain high qualitydocumentation and activity tracking for Business Partnering; Recommendations /development and implementation of continuous improvements to deliver efficiency gains through process, technology or/and automation activities; Overseeing and ensuring all technology change management activities reflect, and are in compliance with, all regulatory, audit and legislative requirements; Effectively and transparently manage customer expectations; Manage suppliers to drive and maintain required levels of quality. Essential Criteria: Experience Experience in IT professional services, Banking or another blue-chip environment. Experience in a Service Delivery or Support Workflow Management role. Skill Excellent communication skills – ability to operate in a collaborative environment Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan time effectively Actively plans ahead and organises schedule to ensure deadlines to objectives or tasks are met. Ability to articulate business requirements into structured plans to ensure quality of service Able to effectively deal with changing priorities or obstacles and to provide alternative options or solutions.
