Key Purpose of the HR Business Partner - Maternity Cover in London:

  • To ensure the delivery of an efficient & business focused HR Service to Group & UK based Support Services.
  • To work as part of the Group HR team to develop and deliver HR and business strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Proactively supporting the Group Support Services HRD in shaping and driving the HR function.
  • Deliver a wide range of end to end HR operation and advisory support services providing expert guidance to line managers, ensuring a consistent, legally compliant and fair approach to people management.
  • Assisting with the management and delivery of core HR processes such as OH cases and redundancy consultations.
  • Supporting the Group Support Services HRD with rolling out global HR initiatives, programmes and policies, such as succession planning and performance appraisals
  • Proactive ownership and resolution of complex ER issues, including grievances, disciplinaries and formal performance management.
  • Developing and reviewing HR policies to ensure legislative compliance and alignment with the company goals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across Support Services.
  • Keeping abreast of legislative changes and ensuring Right to Work compliance in line with relevant legislation.

Key skills and competencies for the HR Business Partner - Maternity Cover in London:

  • Demonstrate a competent background in HR, in particular in a senior level Business Partnering capacity
  • Fully conversant and up-to-date with all aspects of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience in managing redundancy collective consultations.
  • Strong desire and track record to 'make a difference' and add value in the role.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Proven ability to provide commercial HR advice.
  • Communicate effectively across various audiences
