The post holders will work in the Specialised Transport section, which procures and manages home to school transport services for students with special needs and disabilities. This front line service is responsible for organising the transport arrangements for approximately 1500 students with additional needs, to schools and establishments in Derbyshire and further afield. The environment is extremely busy, reactive and challenging.
The successful candidates will support the Senior Transport Officer and the wider team and work as a team player. They must demonstrate in their application and at interview experience of working in a busy front line service. They must be able to organise and prioritise their own workload as well as demonstrate administrative and IT competency. They will be effective communicators both in writing and on the telephone. Experience of Word, Excel and Outlook is essential and experience of bespoke IT systems and EDRM is desirable.
It is an essential requirement that the successful candidates will be expected to work a team rota until 5pm each week due to the service requirements.

Post 1 37 hours per week £20,190 - £22,019 per annum.
