Lancaster Medical Practice is a large, at-scale, GP provider delivering General Medical Services to around 65,000 patients in Lancaster and surrounding villages.
Formed in April 2017 from our successful, legacy practices, Lancaster Medical Practice has continued to evolve to become the strong, high performing Practice it is today, receiving a rating of 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission in August 2018.
We deliver our services from eight locations throughout the city of Lancaster and its surrounding area and are continuing to develop ourselves to improve what we do for our patients, staff and the local community.

We are looking to recruit2x FTEPractice Nurse's to join our expanding Multiprofessional Clinical Team. As a team we are made up of a Lead Nurse Partner,Practice Nurses, ACP's (includinga Paramedic, a Physiotherapist and 2 Mental Health Practitioners), Clinical Pharmacists, an Assistant Practitioner and a team of HCA's. We work alongside a friendly and dynamic team of GP partners and Associate GP's.
We welcome applications from both experienced nurses and those who are newly qualified who are looking to progress their career within General Practice. Training can be provided for the right candidate and you will be provided with a mentor and a team leader to provide you support. We encourage and support further development and provide opportunity for this.
We are looking for 2xWTE's (37.5 hours x 2) which can be 2 full-time position or a combination of part-time hours. As a GP practice we are open between 8am and 6.30 pm Monday - Friday and hours will be spread across these days as agreed with the successful candidates. Overtime is also possible via our extended and out of hours provisions which run from 6.30pm-8pm Monday to Thursday and from 8am - 2.30 pm on a Saturday at our Rosebank Surgery.If a candidate was interested in being contracted for these hours we would be happy to consider this.
