We are looking for registered professionals (Nursing, midwifery, AHP) to fulfil the roles of Senior Practice Learning Facilitator (PLF) for a number of permanent or 12 months secondment contracts to work across Leeds system covering community and PIVO placement areas: You will be working across the following key organisations: Leeds Teaching Hospitals Leeds Community Health Care NHS Trust Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust The University of Leeds Leeds Beckett University You need to be passionate, motivated and flexible about supporting non- medical students in clinical practice, have experience of creating quality learning environments and an excellent understanding of pre-registration programmes. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of learner capacity, the NMC and HCPC standards, coaching/ models of supporting learners in practice, the NHS people plan and Health Education England Quality Assurance Framework. The posts will be based at St James, Trust HQ but you will need to be able to travel efficiently & frequently across Leeds City. This is a fundamental part of the role. Interested candidates should have highly effective interpersonal skills including; the ability to work with a diverse team of professionals, liaising with Universities and multiple organisations across Leeds, an ablility to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels and use own initiative. You must have excellent organizational skills; have proficient IT skills including word and excel and be able to meet tight deadlines.
