Senior Reporting Accountant
Would you like a highly varied role which will give you great exposure to the wider BAE Systems business? We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Reporting Accountant at our site in Warton.
As a Senior Reporting Accountant, you will you will work within the European & International (E&I) Central Reporting Team, responsible for reporting all financial information for the E&I business into Air.
This role will provide you work within a big diverse business, and has exciting opportunities to grow and develop and get included in and visibility of the sheer breadth of the E&I business
Your main responsibilities as a Senior Reporting Accountant will involve:
'The role will involve providing support the Finance Manager - Reporting, in all aspects of monthly financial reporting
Support the financial reporting and consolidation of the monthly accounts
Support the Europe and International finance teams in completing their accounts and month end process, half and full year process and reporting
Support the E&I Balance sheet process and completion of Balance Sheet review packs in preparation for Europe & International Finance Director review
Coordination of the annual surveys
Support the E&I integrated planning process
Lots of other ad hoc duties
Some line management of staff may be required
Your skills and qualifications:
Fully qualified accountant – CIMA, ACCA, ACA
Strong project accountancy experience is essential
Strong project reporting experience is essential
Hyperion system knowledge would be an advantage
Some line management experience would be advantage
