Fixed Term Contract – 6 months
About the role
Here at Babcock International, we’re looking to recruit an Accountant on a fixed term contract for six months. You will be responsible for process mapping and development, co-ordinating and assisting the change process to implement a robust financial control environment.
Main responsibilities include;
• Map key internal financial processes for process re-engineering including purchasing, expenses, budgets, sales costing & quotation, production planning and BOM’s
• Reporting development for monitoring and business insight
• Master data analytics and completeness review
• Work with stakeholders across the business to deliver developments to a timetable
• Report and track process redesign and change development against agreed delivery matrix across all business areas
What do I need to do the role?
You will come from a financial background, ideally fully or part qualified in accountancy with previous experience of reviewing and implementing new financial processes.
Experience of financial systems implementation and auditing would be an advantage.
