Software Asset Manager Warwickshire Permanent £40,000 - £55,000 (Neg) Software Asset Manager (SAM/ITAM) specialist needed for a permanent career opportunity located in Warwickshire (near Nuneaton). A chance to join leading global organisation as a SAM/ITAM professional within an international IT Infrastructure Team. Start ideally in November/December 2020. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, there is also excellent scope to work remotely/WFH. Interviews will also be conducted by phone or video-call. Key experience + responsibilities would include: Supporting the Head of IT Asset Management in the delivery of Software Asset Management (SAM/ITAM) activities. Reviewing software contracts and End User Licensing Agreements with the Procurement Team. Experience of managing licensing terms for major software suppliers (-eg- Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, IBM). In-depth Software Asset Management (SAM) inventory tools (Flexera, Snow, ADDM, Tanium, HPSA, SCCM). Managing IT vendor audits and true up exercises. Administering the Flexera IT Asset Management tool. Generating Effective License Positions (ELPs) for Software Publishers. Knowledge of IT technologies including: Data Centres, Servers, VMware, Citrix, Mainframe, Desktops, Laptops + Virtualization. Coaching/mentoring more junior team members + sharing knowledge of licensing Terms and Conditions (T&Cs). Advantageous experience includes: SAP, Oracle Cloud, ServiceNow, CMDB or Financial Management/Budgeting.
