Gold will be a neighbourhood, modern European restaurant and late-night bar, it is set to open this April on the site of the renowned Portobello Gold public house in the heart of Portobello, Notting Hill.
Inspired by the area's unique cultural mix of artists, designers and musicians, Gold's approach to dining will reflect the discerning, cosmopolitan spirit of contemporary west London.
The food menu will constantly change to reflect the seasons and will exude colour, taste and modern freshness, with a focus on seasonal, produce led, artisan products and minimal process cooking. Dishes will be cooked in wood ovens or over open flame and served to share. Our cocktail list has been crafted by leading cocktail wizard, Matt Whiley and our wines will reflect our food ethos with a focus on organic, natural wines from small producers mixed with the timeless classics.
Set over four floors, guests will be greeted on the ground floor by a bar and open-kitchen area, opening out into a lush garden room. With a retractable roof and landscaped with mature trees, the garden room offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of Portobello Road. The first floor will house a further lounge and dining area and the second floor will be taken up by an exclusive private party room.
At the forefront of celebrating seasonal and sustainable produce, the food is sourced from top suppliers, everything is home made on site in our brand-new sparkly kitchen, in our exciting new iconic site!

As an experienced waiter/ess you will
Provide professional, warm and engaging service,
Be charismatic and confident with customers and enjoy engaging with regulars
Have some knowledge of food and wine, and have a desire to learn more and develop your skills
Ideally, be able to demonstrate 12 months experience in a comparable restaurant / bar operation
Always strive for excellence
Good level spoken English
