We use smart people and smart technology to deliver our vision, bringing people together to give the world’s resources new life.  We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Transfer Stations (ERF Fuel Supply) to join us, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Leading and developing the Transfer Station function, you will shape and design the operations strategy and resourcing model to deliver maximum efficiency. You will have overall responsibility for all operational site and management teams, including setting the financial direction for our Transfer Stations, in a way that aligns with the commercial objectives for Viridor Energy. Additionally, you will ensure consistent, appropriate and best practice procedures are used for the maintenance and capital replacement programmes for Viridor Energy’s fleet of Transfer Station facilities and wider Fuel Supply operational objectives. Our ideal Head of Transfer Stations will have: Extensive knowledge and experience in operating and delivering high quality service provision as part of a large plc owned subsidiary Extensive experience of people management and leading a large multi-site team within a large department; at senior level Demonstrable experience of acting as a senior leader and strategic business partner with the ability to contribute to and challenge strategic thinking and growth Experienced in new plant commissioning and ensuring operational readiness Proven track record of leading and directing business growth and development either organic or via acquisition. Very strong negotiator with high levels of resilience, drive and tenacity. Strong leadership and an inspirational management style, strong communications coupled with extensive people management experience in a large multi-site department at senior level.
