What you’ll do: As the Head of Product Revenue, you will deliver revenue growth through customer lifecycle software management, effective cross-sell plans and behavioural targeting models. Managing a team of circa five people, the role requires a highly collaborative individual, who is used to and comfortable with developing cross-functional virtual teams across the likes of Data Science, Trading, Finance and eCommerce. You will need to seek out opportunities to deliver comms and sales journeys across multiple customer touchpoints to increase ARPU, tenure and products per customer. Your team will scope out new capability and technologies required to support scale and you will need to devise an operating model that efficiently leverages the (cross-functional) multi-faceted expertise that’s required to execute on these. – Develop effective cross-sell plans and offers for key segments across the customer lifecycle – Manage a software budget to deliver targeted offers with the objective of driving incremental sales and product attach – Ensure the entire business understand the customer lifetime value and their respective role in delivering the initiatives that will change customer behaviour In accordance to a customer value matrix – Alongside our Data Science teams, conduct propensity modelling and create decisioning engines to seek the optimal time to affect customer behaviour within their lifecycle, (offer strength, seasonality, etc) – Identify ways to present cross-sell content and develop sales journey to make it incredibly easy for the customer to buy at all relevant touchpoints, regardless of device – You will be responsible for delivering on the Product subs targets, flagging anything adverse to plan and if relevant, introducing initiatives to close any gap – You will work with Strategy & Proposition to deliver long-term and strategic changes to support products per customer and ARPU, including contracts, tiering, bundles, etc – Seek further opportunities across the business, including building and support ‘sales through service’ What you’ll bring: – You are educated to degree level and have experience working for an online or retail business – Excellent communication skills, both written and oral – You have excellent management skills and are an experienced people manager – You have superb commercial acumen and a dab hand at developing business cases and segmented pricing models (preferably for a recurring subscription prop) – Highly skilled at planning and prioritisation – You are data driven and draw insights to constantly optimise – Collaboration is intrinsically a part of how you work – You are a self-starter with strong bias for action Team Overview: The Customer Value department in NOW TV was created just over a year ago, as part of a strategic move from what was previously a predominant focus on customer acquisition, to more of a profit maximising approach that seeks to identify, grow and retain customers based on highly targeted segmentation strategies. In the past year we have had stellar success, introducing transformational retention and monetisation strategies, resulting in double-digit YoY improvement. But we still have a long way to go to complete our ambitions and develop a highly automated customer lifetime programme. This newly created role of Head of Product Revenue will build on the excellent work created by the team thus far and continue to define, shape and deliver new revenue strategies.
