Head of IT
To monitor and control and oversee the provision of services from the internal IT Team and selective vendors.
Develop a long term and short term IT Strategy.
To monitor, analyse and report upon the help desk system to ensure that the business needs for IT services are met within agreed service levels, initiating remedial action when necessary.
To work closely with the outsource to ensure clients needs are understood clearly and delivered in line with existing service level agreements.
To expedite help-desk issues that have been raised with the outsourced providers as necessary
To review, maintain and continuously improve IT processes and procedures to ensure the operations are appropriately supported and controlled, minimising the risk of business disruption from IT related issued (including cyber-attack).
To build on Cyber essentials certification and develop an improvement plan to address increasing cyber risks on the systems
To address cyber risks from business activities, developing necessary protocols and policies, e.g. travel to higher risk countries
To ensure quality IT support and infrastructure is provided to all employees in all locations
To manage office IT infrastructure, providing pro-active support to users as necessary and ensuring coherent and consistent architecture design
To lead on all IT-related aspects of business projects supporting system selection, specification and implementation (SharePoint/Teams; CRM; Dealflow; Mimecast).
