King Edward’s School is seeking a Head of Experimental Sciences to lead, promote and facilitate the delivery of an exceptional programme of academic and extra-curricular Science, and contribute to the wider academic life of the school from 1 September 2021. The school teaches IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma and has a long tradition of scientific excellence, having educated Nobel laureates such as Maurice Wilkins and Sir John Vane. Science remains at the heart of the academic life of the school today. Heads of Faculty work with the Heads of Department (HoD) in their faculty to promote a culture of continued learning and development, and will represent the faculty in strategic forums within the school.
