We’re currently recruiting for the Group Head of Portfolio and Business Management based in Liverpool (London is potentially an option). This is a newly created position to join Tilney Smith & Williamson at a very exciting and pivotal time for us. In this role you will lead business management and transform our waterfall change portfolio to adopt agile digital transformation practices. The key Responsibilities of the role are; Leading business management for Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) including BAU and Change plans to establish, track to and deliver annual business plans working closely with Finance and HR colleagues. Establish and track KPIs for DTS/COO scorecard and reporting to Group Risk, Audit, Executive Committees and the Board. Manage DTS risks and audit actions to establish transparent and effective governance. Manage the Change Portfolio and PMO for the firm including planning, initialising, tracking the change portfolio for the firm; and establishing effective firm-wide change governance through the Change Portfolio Committee. Incubating agile culture and ways of working across the firm changing how we plan, design, deliver to address user needs. Lead engagement across mediums of communication with users of DTS products and services. Drive efficiency and headcount synergies across all DTS spend and drive achievement of growth, efficiency and client experience improvement outcomes across the firm through the change portfolio. Lead acquisition integration due diligence, planning and delivery. To be successful in this role you will have; A. degree in business, marketing, finance, computer science or related field. M.S. or MBA a plus. Experience of leading business management for industry leaders undertaking digital transformation. Experience with financial planning and resource management for technology enabled change including capitalisation Experience of changing a waterfall change portfolio to agile iterative delivery. Understanding of regulated risk and audit governance Strong verbal and written communications, including the ability to write and present to executive audiences. A track record as someone who “gets things done” and thrives on managing numerous concurrent initiatives - rolling up sleeves to get work done with a ‘start-up’ mindset. Proven ability to lead a small team of 20 matrixed into a larger organisation for delivery of change. Intellect and flexibility to work in a highly dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
