Social Worker - Assessment Team - Wirral
Are you a committed Qualified Social Worker?Do you have a passion for providing first-class support to Children's Services? Are you experienced in duty social work? We have a fantastic locum social work opportunity based within an Assessment Team in the Wirral covering all aspects of duty frontline social care practice.Social Workers within the Assessment Team will be completing assessments, S47's, chair meetings, court attendance.
Working alongside partner agencies, taking into account family functioning (experiences of children, young people and parents);
Identifying appropriate interventions for families that will improve outcomes and de-escalate concerns
Working intensively with families within the home and community
Ensuring children and young people are listened to and practice is focused on their needs and experiences, particularly where they cannot represent themselves
To be considered for the Social Worker ideally you will have:
1-3 years' experience within a similar setting
Experience of working well within a team or individually
Experience of writing clear, concise and robust reports ...
The ability to make good decisions based on the information available
The ability to develop effective relationships with other professionals
