Alder Hey CAMHS Do you have experience in a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner Alder Hey is one of Europe's largest children's hospitals, caring for over 270,000 young people every year. If you answered ‘yes’ to the above, we’d love to hear from you! 1 full time fixed term post for six months Based at Burlington House, Waterloo *Interviews for this position may be held at short notice* This is an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Practitioner to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be a member of the specialistmulti-disciplinary service and will have case management responsibility for their case load, however, will supported through regular supervision. The post holder will provide a range of appropriate, evidence based clinical interventions informed by individual need. Children often present with anxiety, low mood and self-harm so experience of working with these difficulties would be advantageous, as well as experience in working with children and adolescents with learning disabilities. The post holder may be required to provide support, advice and consultation to families/carers and other professionals involved in the life of the child/young person.
