We are seeking to recruit dynamic Nurses to work full time within our Crisis Team, a strong multi-disciplinary setting delivering a service for young people and their families / carers in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
The individual appointed will work with children, young people and their families (up to 18 years), be confident in understanding young people’s mental health needs and be able to provide interventions / therapy and risk management strategies to support them. The Candidate will also need excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, organised and have a reflective and flexible approach to working with clients with complex needs.
It would be desirable for applicants to have experience of working with children, young people and families or within crisis team settings.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. LPT run 2 car scheme car leasing and salary sacrific car subject to you meeeting the acceptance criteria.
The service operates from 08.00hr – 22.00hr seven days per week for crisis assessments while 08.00hr – 20.00hr for home treatment. The post holder will be required to work full time (37.5 hours) on an internal rotation.
