£1,559
  • Negotiable: Yes

Description

The Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the best trekking journeys in Nepal. It is a perfect amalgamation of the best features and attributes of the beautiful Khumbu region. The trek to the base camp of the world's tallest mountain peak is filled with unforgettable natural sceneries, amazing Himalayan ambiance, and a unique Sherpa culture experience.
Likewise, trekkers are presented with marvelous sights of the Everest Mountains and the journey is filled with Sherpa culture that manifests in the form of Chortens, Mani stone walls carved with prayers, and colorful prayer flags that are strung along with the Himalayan trees.

The Everest Base Camp Trek by the Himalaya Land Treks starts with a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The trekking trail goes through many settlements and villages along the way, like Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Dingboche and Tengboche among many more. These Sherpa villages allow the trekkers to enjoy the Sherpa culture and traditions. Most of the trekking trail also passes through the Sagarmatha National Park. Some of the best highlights of the trek include the vantage point of Kalapatthar from where trekkers are presented with panoramic views of the entire Mount Everest massif. Additionally, the vantage point also offers surreal views peaks like Ama Dablam (6856m), Lhotse (8516m), Nuptse (7861m), Cho Oyu (8201m), and the Mount Everest (8848m). Likewise, the Everest Base Camp itself is decorated with the views of Khumbu Icefall and Glacier along with peaks like Pumo Ri (7165m) and Nuptse (7861m).

The Everest Base Camp Trek is a moderate trekking journey and does not require previous trekking experience to do. It is best done during the moths of March to May during spring and from September to December during autumn. The remaining seasons i.e. winter (December- February) and monsoon (June-August) experience unstable weather conditions which affect the flights to/from Lukla. While making sure every one of us enjoys the journey thoroughly, it is also necessary to make sure we do it safely which needs a planned itinerary and well-trained personnel. We, here at Himalaya Land Treks, have been doing so for over a decade and we assure you a lovely adventure through the Himalayas.
