It is accurate, reliable, and practical, with fans around the globe now demanding it to be a part of serious sports events.\n \nWe are a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Europe, and are a fundamental part of officiating and broadcasting in over 20 international sports across our Ball Tracking, SMART (Synchronised Multi-Angle Replay Technology) and SMART Production products.\n \nAbout SMART in Rugby:\n \nSMART is utilised in Rugby to provide replays to Medical, Citing, Analyst and TMO services. In 2017/18 Hawk-Eye provided SMART Replay services in 17 countries to World Rugby, EPCR, RFU, WRU, IRFU, PRO14 and the Commonwealth Games. Due to the expansion of the rugby services we are looking to recruit operators to deliver onsite technical support for PRO14 match day operations.\n \nRESPONSIBILITIES "\n Installation and setup of Hawk-Eye Hardware on Match Day Configure and launch Hawk-Eye Software for Medical and Citing Applications Liaise and support Match Day staff with operation of the Hawk-Eye System Monitor the system and provide quick resolution for any technical issues alongside remote support Ensure all contractual obligations are seamlessly delivered Software performance analysis and creation of match day operational reviews \n \n Requirements \n \nWHAT WE NEED FROM YOU "\n A strong technical grounding, ideally with a degree (2:1 or above) in a science, technology, mathematics or engineering course or equivalent Bright and enterprising, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills Proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative Time management skills and ability to work in a high pressure, live broadcast environment Ability to liaise with clients and customers in a professional and approachable manner A keen knowledge and interest in Rugby Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages would be beneficial) Flexible and willing to travel within Italy as required by the fixture schedule \n \n Benefits \n \nWHAT YOU'LL GET FROM US "\n A high-autonomy role with real exposure to the forefront of sports technology.
