Main area Clinical Governance Grade Band 6 Contract Secondment: 12 months (or fixed term contract) Hours Full time: 37.5 hours per week (£31,365- £37,890 pa pro rata) Job ref 359-CORP8846 Site Maidstone Hospital Town Maidstone Salary £ Closing 04/12/2020 23:59 Interview date 11/12/2020 You must have a comprehensive understanding of patient safety and clinical governance and will act as one of the Trust’s competent people for providing advice and guidance to staff and committees in relation to patient safety. Y ou will work with others to identify and assist in delivering solutions to incidents and serious incidents in relation to patient safety. You will also assist both the Patient Safety and Deputy Patient Safety Manager in delivering the Patient Safety Strategy and in the development of Patient Safety policies and procedures. Working in conjunction with other members of the Patient Safety team, you will assist in the delivery of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Duty of Candour and Datix training across the Trust and work to monitor the performance of departments and directorates across the Trust in meeting their Patient Safety duties. Part of the role will be providing support to the Serious Incident Investigators - to ensure that robust investigation procedures are applied and learning from the incident is identified and disseminated.
