To achieve their goal of delivering and embedding formal and informal learning solutions they are now looking for a Learning and Development Specialist who can deliver fit for purpose learning across the organisation, with particular focus on their Health and Social Care colleagues. The Opportunity Collaborating with their Learning and Development Team your role will be a key in the Group for Talent and Learning and Development. You'll be responsible for delivering and embedding pragmatic formal and informal learning solutions that both focus on business need and provide an outstanding experience. Supporting the L&D Manager, L&D specialists and subject matter experts you will effectively manage existing face-to-face and virtual learning, particularly for their Care and Support Division and take pride in looking for opportunities to add value whilst reducing cost and risk. You will be motivated by evolving the learning culture to create an approach to learning that moves away from just achieving compliance to continuous improvement, imbedding learning, drive higher performance and to recognise and develop talent within. Your successful delivery of this will directly help them to improve lives. The Person Highly organised and efficient with excellent communication and organisational skills you will ideally have demonstrable experience and/or academia in coaching, training or equivalent qualifications. You will have previously delivered highly engaging formal and informal learning events and workshops and have a working knowledge of learning needs analysis. With a genuine passion within Learning and Development you will be able to showcase up to date knowledge of theory and best practice ideally in areas such as Health and Social Care. Understanding of Care Quality Commission requirements, including implementation of the Care Certificate, Skills for Health's UK Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) and specialist health and social care courses is desirable but not essential. You view your skills as being able to deliver learning and development, you have previously been hands on with both classroom and virtual learning events and above all you put the customer at the heart of your work.
