Support Worker - Learning Disabilities - Part Time Would you like to go home after work knowing the impact of what you've done will last long after the end of your shift? The feeling of supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to live a life that makes sense to them is amazing We have an opportunity for a two Part-time Support Workers, 16 hours per week to join our outreach team. No experience? No problem. Just bring your good kind hearts and we'll provide the training. Outline You will be supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to access community activities. Your support will enable them to increase their independence an potentially take on voluntary work You will support up to 3 people, each of different ages and abilities making for a very varied role . (Of course at the moment people are focusing more on activities at home, but we all hope it won't be long before we can get out and about again as normal.) What we need from you You don’t need experience to become a Support Worker but it’s not easy. If you are patient, kind and creative, we’ll teach you the rest so that together we can deliver the best possible support.
