Barnsley Memory Service is a multi-professional team providing assessment, diagnosis and treatment interventions to people with cognitive impairment of any age. We see our service as a genuine specialism and are offering the opportunity for you to be part of this. We wish to employ Registered Nurses (Mental Health) who have a real understanding of the needs of this patient group who can bring innovation and change to our service. The posts below will be to support the development of the memory service and have an important part to play in maintaining and increasing the diagnostic rate of individuals and supporting people with behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia in their own homes and in 24 hours care settings in the Barnsley area.
We are looking to recruit motivated individuals to work at Band 5 level and Band 6 level within our existing community service.
To provide a robust service our current working hours are Monday to Friday 08.00 to 20.00. This post involves community travel and therefore requires the applicant to be an essential car user.
The successful applicants will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
