I am currently recruiting for a multi-service law firm in Sheffield in recruiting a Legal Secretary to their Clinical Negligence team. The successful candidate will be an experienced Legal Secretary with the ability to hit the ground running, providing strong secretarial support to the department across a variety of tasks and responsibilities, adhering to strict quality and compliance guidelines. Duties will include audio transcription, typing of letters and documents, organising diaries, collation of information and telephone contact with clients and third parties. A highly communicative and supportive individual would suit this role as it is of paramount importance that a thorough understanding of the department's values, sensitive approach and a genuine care for the department's clients is effortless and demonstrated at all times. Experience of a legal secretarial background is an essential requirement. Desirable key skills and experiences: Experience of working in a solicitor's practice in a similar Legal Secretarial role.Fast and accurate typing with a minimum speed of 65 wpm.Ability to input information quickly and accuratelyKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of Big HandKey result areas: Providing an efficient and supportive secretarial service to the Clinical Negligence Department.Ability to meet KPI's relating to transcriptionExcellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
