Sales Executive

DescriptionWe have a rare and exciting opportunity for a professional B2B Telesales Executive to join our clients well established, award-winning business in Warrington
The role will be working in the client's legal sales team targeting prospective and lapsed client accounts and building relationships with existing client accounts.
* Hybrid role with a mix of office and home working as the business requires.
* Basic Salary circa £27k - £30k + OTE £40k
Main responsibilities
* Proactively pursue new business opportunities with a consultative and advisory approach meeting daily KPI’s including outbound call rates.
* Management of allocated existing client accounts from a commercial perspective to support retention and growth activity.
* Utilise the full range of available marketing collateral in business development activity.
* Support national and regional marketing campaigns by following up on generated sales leads and enquiries and by proactively contacting target accounts.
* Update and maintain the existing, prospective, and lapsed client database on the Sales Force CRM using identified sources of information, both online and offline and through direct contact with the client account.
* Address each outbound call with a consultative approach in line with the outbound call quality matrix to identify new business opportunities.
* Conduct regular competitor and client research for strategic planning purposes.
* Build and maintain effective internal relationships with a team of client service case managers, who support the administration and fulfilment of case orders to the client’s satisfaction and the New Enquiry team.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 in addition to all departmental procedures, policies and protocols.
Key requirements
* Minimum of three years’ outbound B2B sales or business development experience
* Tenacious and motivated attitude to building relationships with prospective / lapsed/existing accounts and contacts, predominantly using the phone to make outbound calls.
* Commercial acumen - the ability to spot incremental sales opportunities whilst maximising client value.
* Proactive in managing the expectations of prospective clients and their businesses.
* Practical and professional communication skills, both spoken and written.
* Outstanding attention to detail and accurate, detailed recording of information.
* Very organised with the ability to multi-task to meet multiple targets and deadlines.
* Able to remain calm under pressure and always maintain a positive, willing, and professional attitude.
* Willingness to continuously develop and improve knowledge of our business, the legal sector and the services we offer.
* Competent in working with Salesforce [or other CRM] and Microsoft programmes, especially Excel.
* Manage internal and client-facing challenges with empathy, whilst remaining appropriately assertive.
* Identify own limitations and strengths, proactively recognise training needs and request support as required.
