Description✓Senior IT Support Technician, Carlisle, Cumbria
✓£25,000 - £35,000
✓MacArthur Recruitment is working on behalf of a successful IT, Telecoms and Services company who, due to internal promotions, are looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer / Technician to join their Support team
✓Your ideal background will be from a multiple-external customer environment.
✓Within this position you will be working within a team, supporting clients both remotely and face to face, playing an integral part in the organisation by providing technical support for hardware and software.
✓A lot of their business has grown naturally through recommendation and as a result of expansion within a satisfied customer
✓Ideally they are looking for someone with good broad and deep knowledge who enjoys working with and helping customers; along with having a passion for technology
✓Most of your role is carried out from the offices in Carlisle, however some customer site visits are required – a pool van is provided for these.
✓Career development and further technology training are also on offer
✓The skills listed below are the ideal case however there is some flexibility and some further training can be provided.

✓Responsibilities for the role of Senior IT Support Technician :
✓* Proactive monitoring of IT Systems
✓* Installation & Configuration of hardware, software, and IT Infrastructure
✓* Diagnosing system errors and other issues
✓* Help desk and incident management
✓* Ensure IT support processes are followed and documented
✓* Troubleshoot, appropriate problem solving, and ensure IT issues are being dealt with effectively and to the customer's satisfaction
✓* Providing onsite and remote support
✓* Drivers license.
