✓MacArthur Recruitment is working on behalf of a successful IT, Telecoms and Services company who are looking for an IT Support Technician / 2nd Line IT Technician to join their Support team
✓This is with a small and friendly team where you will get variety as well as further training and development.
✓Within this position you will be working within a team, supporting clients both remotely and face to face, playing an integral part in the organisation by providing technical support for hardware and software.
✓A lot of their business has grown naturally through recommendation and as a result of expansion within a satisfied customer
✓Ideally they are looking for someone with good broad and deep knowledge who enjoys working with and helping customers; along with having a passion for technology
✓Most of your role is carried out from the offices in Carlisle, however some customer site visits are required – a pool van is provided for these.
✓Career development and further technology training are also on offer
✓The skills listed below are the ideal case however there is some flexibility and some further training can be provided.
✓For the role of IT Support Technician / 2nd Line IT Technician some of :
✓* Support onsite or remotely to ensure operational problems are resolved in a timely manner
✓* Proactive monitoring of IT Systems and preparing and building customer equipment as required
✓* Installation & Configuration of hardware, software and IT Infrastructure
✓* Diagnosing system errors and other issues and Help desk and incident management
✓* Ensure IT support processes are followed and documented
✓* Troubleshoot, appropriate problem solving and ensuring IT issues are being dealt with effectively, and to the customers satisfaction.
✓* Providing excellent customer service at all times – phone, email, face to face
✓* Flexible and willing to learn new skills, Customer service
✓* Ability to work within a team - ensuring knowledge is shared
✓* An inquisitive and analytical mind who is service driven
✓* Drivers license.
✓Ideal Technical experience for the role of IT Support Technician / 2nd Line IT Technician, some or all of :
✓* Active Directory
✓* Microsoft Exchange [Apply online only]
✓* Office 365, Microsoft Teams
✓* VMware
✓* Firewalls, ESET Anti-Virus
✓* Networking, Windows Server 2012 – 2019
✓* Windows 7-10
