Hotel Reservations Manager
They are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Hotel Reservations Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel's booking process.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, be detail-oriented, and capable of managing a high volume of reservations efficiently
In addition to handling reservations, the Hotel Reservations Manager will also be responsible for meeting and greeting clients, maintaining a positive atmosphere, and providing support in the bar and restaurant areas when necessary.

Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain all hotel reservations for our all rooms throughout the year.
* Handle a high volume of booking requests promptly and accurately, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
* Maintain an organised and up-to-date reservation system, including entering new reservations, making modifications, and cancellations.
* Communicate effectively with guests, providing them with relevant information about their reservations and addressing any concerns or special requests.
* Welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service.
* Assist in the bar and restaurant areas during busy periods, including bartending and waitressing as needed.
* Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure timely preparation and allocation of rooms for incoming guests.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
* Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, rates, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
* Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly, aiming for satisfactory resolutions.
* Implement strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
* Conduct regular reports on reservations, occupancy rates, and revenue performance.
* Foster a positive work environment by supporting and rewarding team members.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in hotel reservations management or a similar role is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
* Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
* Flexibility to work in various areas of the hotel, including the bar and restaurant.
* Knowledge of reservation systems and software, such as property management systems [PMS], is a plus.
* Proficient computer skills, including experience with spreadsheets and word processing software.
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to go the extra mile.
* Ability to work well within a small team and collaborate with others effectively.
