Digital Education Officer

We are looking for someone to join the Digital Education team at KMMS.
KMMS [Kent and Medway Medical School] is a collaboration between Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Kent.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Re-directing e-mail queries which have arrived in the digital education inbox, but are handled by other departments e.g
forgotten password requests should go to the relevant university IT helpdesk.
* Uploading of reviewed PowerPoint files and any other files to the VLE.
* Exporting of narrated PowerPoint files to mp4.
* Uploading of mp4s
* Embedding of recordings for pre-recorded lectures, for live lectures and for pre-reading documents [Year 3].
* Supporting external contributors with access to systems e.g
logging in at a lecture theatre pc, opening Qwickly, setting up lecture recording.
* Supporting online Collaborate sessions e.g
promoting those arriving via guest link to a presenter/moderator role.
* Editing of KMMS Learn [our virtual learning environment] module layout if required e.g
moving folders, copying tests etc.
Skills and Experience
* The ability to learn quickly.
* Good customer service skills to liaise with staff, students and external contacts of the Medical School.
* Specialised experience ideally or comfortable with technology and willing to learn.
* Experience of working with virtual learning environments if possible
