What will the role involve?

You will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, external providers and employers. Through them, you will source eligible learners, employment and progression opportunities for our learners across a suite of newly won and established contracts.

• Developing strategic and mutually rewarding partnerships with external providers to maximise opportunities for young people across the entire Hertfordshire LEP area
• Developing relationships with Schools/Colleges/Local Authorities/The Local Enterprise Partnership to promote the provision
• Working with Young People providers such as Apprenticeship Providers and Traineeship providers to source an appropriate positive progression
• Working with employers to source potential managed job vacancies, and structure bespoke pre-employment training courses for the resultant recruitment
• Working with employers to promote maths and English support services for employed learners, to up-skill their workforce with functional skills
• Identifying and implementing partnership opportunities within learndirect
• Achieving referral and employer engagement targets across a range of industries and contracts
• Establish, build and maintain partnerships with a wide portfolio of existing and potential partners to fulfil the business needs through regular contact and management.
• Actively seek new business opportunities with stakeholders.
• Develop a network of relationships with employed learners through business development and marketing engagement
• Maintain accurate records of specified business development activity and provide timely and consistent data using learndirect systems
• Identify key networking opportunities to maximise your impact on your centre(s) and supply chain referrals increasing income opportunities
• Deliver pitches and presentations to referral partners and stakeholders to secure new business
• Maintain an excellent level of product knowledge and understanding of all funding opportunities
• Advertise and promote learndirect to referral partners, employers and potential learners using a wide range of techniques in order to achieve learner acquisition targets
