‘Wake Up and Smell the Coffee’


Our Client is a highly successful Business specialising in the roasting and supply of high quality fresh coffee and related coffee machine equipment, and is also part of a privately owned, multi-million pound turnover SME founded over 50 years ago.

Through offering the highest quality product ranges and the provision of excellent customer service, the Company has witnessed rapid growth and development to become one of the premier coffee roasters and fresh coffee suppliers in the UK and are now seen as a ‘key’ player in their market.

An excellent opportunity exists for an individual, who is passionate about the fresh coffee experience, to join the Company and play a key role, as part of a professional Sales Team, in the further development of new business, as well as maintaining effective business relationships with a strong existing customer base. This will be achieved through a mixture of pro-active customer contact and face to face customer visits throughout a regional area.

Reporting to the Group Sales Director, you will operate as part of a core professional Business Development Team within the Group, where you will be expected to effectively plan and execute your sales activity plan and manage your diary and customer visit schedule, regularly report on activity and contribute to the continuing growth and development of Customers throughout your region.

You will ideally possess previous sales experience, coupled with an outgoing personality, drive, self motivation and an interest and passion for coffee.

You will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active and have a desire to achieve. You will receive structured training and development, support and backing, to enable you to be successful and build a long term, rewarding sales career.

As such, you should be able to demonstrate either experience of working within a fresh coffee environment, (possible Barista exposure would be a bonus), within a customer facing role, or have experience of selling product ranges of quality, where you have effectively developed customer relationships and been able to deliver successful sales development and customer management.

As a highly self motivated individual, happy to adopt a ‘sleeves rolled up’ style, should be able to transfer a hunger for success into actual sales and business achievement.

To enable you to be successful, you will possess excellent verbal communication abilities, coupled with professional personal presentation. You will also be numerate, IT literate (MS Office packages) and hold a current UK driving licence.
