Loot is the UK's original classified ads paper and website.
We're part of Associated Newspapers which publishes various titles including the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, London Lite and Metro.
When?
Established in 1985, Loot lists thousands of business and private adverts across hundreds of categories. It might be hard to imagine a paper full of ads being ground breaking, but back in 1985 that’s exactly what Loot was. Just look at how many copycats there have been since. Better still, look at how many are still around today. Not many!
What?
Today we run a number of local editions which cover areas including London, Manchester and Liverpool. Anyone can place an ad through our UK call centre or on loot.com, and the ad will appear both online and in the Loot publications. Online, loot.com is growing fast.
