Assembly Technician
Description✓Forde Recruitment are currently recruiting assembly technicians on behalf of our client based in Sheffield on a temp to perm
✓This role involves the manufacture and assembly of electrolyser sub-assemblies and components
✓Applicants should have pipe bending, fitting and mechanical assembly experience and have worked in a manufacturing environment.
✓Working a weekly rotational shift of [Apply online only] and [Apply online only] Monday to Friday [37.5 hours per week with 30 minutes for lunch]
✓Pay rate is £11.79 per hour with a 20% uplift on the afternoon shift.
✓Responsibilities
✓• Manufacture equipment and assemblies to drawings and information provided at the required throughput rate
✓• Recommend any documentation updates/improvements required
✓• Highlight any concerns relating to build quality or safety as they arise and be part of an investigating team when required
✓• Inspection of parts, assemblies and builds as required
✓• Maintain traceability throughout build
✓• Ensure tooling used where required is calibrated and in date
✓• Fill in/log any required information into the clients documents/systems as required
✓Experience Required
✓• Pipe bending and fitting
✓• Ability to read and work to technical drawings
✓• Measure and build to fine tolerances with accuracy
✓• Use of hand and power tools
✓• Able to work with a variety of materials
✓• Manufacturing environment
✓• Mechanical assembly
