✓Are you looking for a work supporting SEN Primary School pupils?
✓TeacherActive are looking for a Special Need Teaching Assistant in Leeds to have the opportunity to work in a small outer city Primary School
✓The position available is to work as a supply member of staff covering on a long term basis, working across a variety of year groups, supporting pupils with special needs
✓The needs of these pupils rang from Autism, ADHA, SEMH and challenging behaviours.
✓This position is for someone with a caring and supportive manner, who keep these pupils focused and influence them to engage with positive behaviours
✓The school need someone to come in and create a safe and trusting relationship, allow pupils to progress in their learning and development.
✓It is desirable but not essential to have training and qualifications relevant to supporting Special Needs, or prior experience of working with pupils with special needs
✓This would be beneficial to ensure pupils are accessing the highest care and support.
✓The position is on a long-term basis, 5 days a week, 8.50- 3.30pm, to start in September.
