Welder / Engineer
Description✓Welder, Engineer, hands-on individual required to repair, maintain, improve, inspect, and install machinery and parts, completing diagnostic tests using manual tools and technological devices
✓Salary is between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum; dependent on experience
✓Hours of work Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm.
✓This role would suit an experience Automotive Mechanic looking for a hands-on role outside of the industry.
✓Duties:
✓Conduct thorough inspections of problematic machinery to identify issues and maintain equipment
✓Complete diagnostic tests of mechanical and electrical systems
✓Order and replace parts and components, repairing body damage as required
✓Clean and paint machinery when needed
✓Maintain detailed records for each machine or vehicle, including any maintenance, inspection, or repair services performed
✓Estimate and budget for current and projected repair projects, calculating costs for parts and labour, and lowering costs through valid warranties and insurance coverage
✓Maintain a large collection of tools, parts and other stock
✓Be available for overtime at the weekend if urgently requiredBenefits:
