The client I am recruiting on behalf of is a small, family-run engineering business with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they have been serving their clients for over 20 years and have built a reputation for excellence in our industry
As they continue to grow, they are seeking a motivated and organized Project Administrator to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Position Overview:
As a Project Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting their engineering projects from initiation to completion
You will work closely with their project management team, engineers, and clients to ensure projects are executed smoothly, efficiently, and within budget
This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects and contribute to the growth of our business.
Project Administration and Scheduling:
* Collaborate with the project management team to develop detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
* Ensure adherence to project schedules and make adjustments as necessary.
* Ensure all job packs are completed ahead of installations
* Ensure all daily updates are sent to the client on time
* Ensure all audits are sent to the client on time
* Ensure updates and audits are uploaded to the shared drive accordingly
* Manage the company eBay account
* Ensure all installation cost trackers are up to date
* Any additional co-ordination or administration tasks that presents as the department grows
Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records.
Communication and Coordination:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and facilitate effective communication between internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and site visits as required.
* Collation, validation and issue of project completion
Person requirements
* Proven experience in project administration or a similar position is highly essential
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with the business
* Proficiency in project management software and tools desirable but not essential
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
