✓An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking and successful firm of Chartered Accountants, based within the outskirts of the City Centre
✓Known for their great reputation and clients and employee retention! Through internal development, they are looking for a bookkeeper to join their friendly, social team.
✓An ideal candidate is someone with experience working within a practice or a Group of companies within an industry, therefore you will be used to working across various sets of accounts functions.
✓Bookkeeper Job Role:
✓Maintaining financial records for a variety of Businesses.
✓Responsibilities:
✓Using Quick Books, Sage, Xero & Auto Entry –
✓* General accounting administrative duties; including processing payments and sale invoices and purchase invoices
✓* reconciliation of control accounts
✓* Posting wages journals
✓* Preparation of VAT Returns.
✓* Client Contact – Contacting Clients to request information and respond to queries
✓* Working across various multiple client accounts
✓* Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
✓Skills Required:
✓* Experience working within a fast-paced office environment.
✓* Strong communication skills.
✓* Experience with various Accountancy software
✓* Works with accuracy and attention to detail.
✓* Ability to adapt to different client’s needs and processes.
✓Added extras:
✓* Experience with MTD - Helping Clients become MTD ready would be ideal but not essential.
✓* A strong practice background would be an advantage.
